Vanta Esports Partners with Baylor University as Presenting Partner of the Texas Esports League

‍Hull, MA – April 2nd, 2024 – Vanta Esports, a leading force in Scholastic Esports across the United States, is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with Baylor University as the Presenting Partner of the Texas Esports League (TEL). The TEL, the official esports partner of the University Interscholastic League (UIL) in Texas, boasts hundreds of participating schools and thousands of students competing across over 30 game titles.

This partnership marks a significant step forward for scholastic and collegiate esports in Texas. Baylor University will join Vanta at the upcoming Texas Esports League Spring 2024 Finals, held during the Collegiate Esports Commissioner’s Cup (CECC) Texas – the largest collegiate esports event globally also known as May Madness. CECC Texas will welcome 84 teams from 19 collegiate conferences competing across four gaming titles.  While top collegiate talent from across the nation battle it out, Vanta will be hosting the scholastic esports component, showcasing Texas’s best Middle School and High School players.

The collaboration extends beyond the Spring Finals. Vanta and Baylor University will also co-host the Texas Esports League Fall Finals later in 2024 at the brand-new Mark & Paula Hurd Welcome Center – named after former Oracle CEO Mark Hurd – in Waco. This partnership aims to solidify Baylor's position as a driving force in collegiate esports, not just within Texas but nationwide.

Esports enthusiasts won't want to miss the Texas Esports League Spring Finals, taking place on May 4th and 5th at Esports Stadium Arlington. Tickets are expected to go fast, so fans are encouraged to purchase them early. The collegiate portion runs Friday through Sunday, with one ticket giving full event access. Qualified scholastic Players and Coaches can access free tickets through the Vanta Platform.
