Yes! You can sign-up and compete for free on the Vanta platform.
(And if you want to level-up and improve your game, you can purchase sessions with the best esports coaches in the industry, both for private coaching, as well as team coaching.)
If you are competing for free, there are no set practice times. If you have a private coach, you will determine your practice times. If you have a team coach, your school or organization will determine practice times.
Vanta league competitions are currently held throughout the week from Mondays to Fridays. If you are a part of a private or state-run organization, your competition dates/times may be determined by the organization.
Yes, of course! You and your friends can build a team and learn together with the same coach. If you don’t have a full team prepared when you sign up, that’s okay too! We’ll match you with other players that we think would be a good fit for you. That way, you’ll have the opportunity to make some new friends.

Yes! We make safety a priority here at Vanta Leagues. Our coaches are vetted extensively (including background checks) and trained extensively via our Coach Academy. We also have moderators on for every practice and game. And our esports platform is COPPA compliant...meaning we keep your child's data safe.
Our leagues and programming focus not just on in-game skill development but also important "out of game" elements like social-emotional learning, leadership, communication, physical (i.e., stretching), nutrition/sleep advice, and emotional and mental wellness.
Yes! For team-based options, we offer Rocket League and League of Legends as well as all of our individual, competition-only titles: Super Smash Bros, Knockout City, Mario Kart, and Chess.
Vanta offers two seasonal leagues per year, fall and spring. Each league lasts for 12 weeks. During those 12 weeks, each team will typically practice once or twice a week and have one match a week. Schedules vary from team to team based on player availability and sometimes based on the wishes of the school the team is associated with.
Practices are 1.5 hours long for all games.
Vanta leagues are separated by player skill level, all the way from players who just downloaded the game to those who have thousands of hours of experience. This ensures fair and engaging competition during the season.
All practices and matches are run on our proprietary, COPPA compliant, Vanta Portal. Here, players will video chat with each other while participating in practices and matches.
Vanta operates as an entirely virtual program. All practices and matches are conducted via video calls wherever you have a stable internet connection! If your child is on a team through their school or community organization, they may choose to hold practices virtually or in-person, or a combination of both, so ask your organization for more details.
All practices and matches are run through our proprietary, COPPA-compliant Vanta platform. This is the safest and most child-friendly platform you will find for your young gamers to play on.
Esports is an industry that includes all things competitive gaming. From elementary school teams up to the professional level, esports is a new and ever-evolving industry. Still, this industry is already massive. Current projections predict esports revenue will surpass $1.38 billion by the end of 2022, and that it will reach an audience of over half a billion consumers.
The esports industry includes amateur content creation, youth programs, school programs, collegiate programs, professional teams and leagues, merchandise and brand-focused organizations, and so much more. Like the traditional sports industry, there are many opportunities for collegiate scholarship opportunities as well.
At the school level, esports teams and clubs compete among themselves or against other school programs. There are many benefits to esports participation including the development of STEM skills, social-emotional learning, and a sense of belonging among players.
At Vanta, we find that 50% of our student players had never participated in an afterschool program before becoming involved in our leagues. Because of this, we find esports to be incredibly beneficial to a student’s development and believe that it is highly important for schools to offer esports to their students.

You can play from any location with a stable internet connection and a gaming device. Gaming devices consist of laptops/desktops, Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo Switch.

Many parents may wonder if their child is too young to play video games. The short answer is no. Here at Vanta, we allow gamers to join our leagues starting from age 8, but many gamers start even younger than that. While there may be some games that you prefer your kids stay away from, there are many titles that are appropriate for your kids to play starting from a young age.
The ESRB rates games for age appropriateness, with the most inclusive rank being “E” for everyone. This means that the game is deemed reasonable for play by anyone, no matter their age. Several games, such as Rocket League, are rated E for Everyone, and even more general video games fall under this category.
If you do plan on allowing your gamer to play games, be sure that you are monitoring the ESRB ratings of the games that they are playing. It may even be helpful to enroll them in a league with a moderated, secure environment to ensure that they are having the safest experience possible.
Not only do we offer appropriate games at Vanta, but all of our games and practices are monitored by a trained moderator to ensure the safety of even our youngest participants. We ensure a safe, non-toxic environment free from cyberbullying and harassment.
Contact us at support@vanta.gg and let us know the game(s) you are interested in and we will send all of the information you need to get your school ready to play.
